The short version
- There are no accounts. We never ask for your email, phone number, real name or age.
- Game data (rooms, answers, scores) is deleted 48 hours after a game ends.
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics, and no cookies on this website.
Who we are
Chimology is run by KKLOK, a business registered in Singapore (UEN 53531673M). For any privacy question, write to our data protection contact at support@chimology.app.
What we collect, and why

Your device also remembers your last name, character and settings so you do not have to pick them again. That stays on your device, and clearing your browser data or deleting the app removes it.
Earlier test versions had an optional leaderboard where players could post a nickname and a time. It is no longer shown, and we will delete those entries before the app launches.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. We use these service providers to run Chimology:
- Supabase stores the game data, on servers in Singapore.
- Netlify hosts the browser version of the game.
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
Netlify and Cloudflare run servers around the world, so your IP address may be handled outside Singapore. We only use providers that protect data to a standard comparable to Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
When paid packs go on sale in the iPhone and Android apps, Apple or Google will handle the payment. We will never see your card details. We will update this policy before that happens.
Children
Chimology is for all ages. It does not ask for anyone's age or personal details. Please use a nickname rather than your real name as your display name.
Your choices
Under the PDPA you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. Because there are no accounts, we can only find your data if you tell us the room code, the display name you used and roughly when you played. Most of it deletes itself within 48 hours anyway. Write to support@chimology.app and we will reply within 30 days.
Keeping it safe
Game data can only be read or changed through the game's own rules on our server, and the correct answers are never sent to your device before you answer. If a data breach ever puts players at risk, we will tell the Personal Data Protection Commission and the people affected, as the PDPA requires.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
